Designed for rapid launch and precise interception
Vanguard is Vaubren's rapid-response interceptor. It waits in its station, charged and checked, and launches vertically the moment a threat is confirmed. It is simple to operate with little training.
Through Citadel, Vaubren's command software, Vanguard is deployed alone, in a group, or alongside a surveillance aircraft. A human operator stays in command of every engagement.
Vanguard is built around one idea: the response should already be in place when the threat appears. Station, aircraft and software work as one system, so the time between detection and action is seconds, not minutes.
A confirmed track cues the station and the interceptor is airborne before a crew could reach the flight line. No runway, no catapult, no one on standby.
A modular payload bay is swapped in the field, so the same aircraft covers a base, an airfield or a port without a new airframe.
Several interceptors launch and coordinate on several threats at once. One operator supervises the group from Citadel Command and keeps the final say.
