Why we build the factory

Aircraft win engagements. Production wins wars.

Europe does not lack ideas. It lacks throughput. Deterrence is decided by how many systems a nation can field and replace, and how fast. So we treat the factory as part of the product.

Design changes should reach the line in days, and every aircraft should be flown, jammed, and stressed on the same ground where it was built. One fence around the whole loop.

The integration hall.

Vanguard interceptors will be assembled and fitted with Citadel on a single line. Hardware-in-the-loop racks run the same computers that fly.

The runway is part of the factory.

Every aircraft will fly before delivery. Every autonomy build will be jammed and GPS-denied on the campus range until it completes the mission anyway.

A live-in campus.

Engineers, pilots, and production crews will live thirty meters from the line. A decision made at dinner should be flying by morning.
