Glacis

Aircraft. Long-range surveillance

Glacis is a long-range surveillance aircraft. It takes off vertically from any open space, stays on station for hours on hybrid power and sends everything it sees to Citadel, where a person decides what happens next.

The system.

Prototype flown. Second-generation airframe in development. Images are visualisations unless marked.

Takes off anywhere

Four electric lift rotors raise Glacis from a field, a clearing or a roadside, then the wing takes over. No runway and no launcher. Photograph of the prototype at a test flight.

Hours on station

A pusher propeller on hybrid power carries it for hours along a border or a coast, out of sight and out of earshot.

One airframe, every payload

Day and thermal cameras, radio-frequency sensing, a communications relay or a mapping camera, swapped in minutes on one power and data interface.

Works when jammed

Several independent links, and navigation that carries on when satellite positioning is jammed. The mission is held on board.
